A Colorkey infrared processing, meaning blue sky and monochrome landscape, simply never loses its charm. This processing is possible with any Infrared filter that allows color processing. With the 700 nm filter you can take both black and white and color infrared images. But you can also use the color information to have maximum control over a black and white image. However, if you accidentally set the camera to JPEG, you can still make something out of the image with such a file - provided that you have a good white balance in camera. Infrared Photography is known to show familiar landscapes in an abstract, artistic and new light. In Astrophotography or Star Photography, however, it is more a matter of portraying the objects as "naturally" as possible, just as we see them. This is especially important for night landscapes, where there is also an exciting foreground to photograph.
