Exhibition '> 660NM' in Erlangen, Middle Franconia

After my first exhibition last year, I was looking for a new theme. Since I had a Nikon 1 converted to infrared at the beginning of 2015, the topic of infrared was predestined for this.
Since I was forced to use a filter with visible light due to Nikon installations on the sensor (which appeared as 7 horizontal stripes in pure infrared), the title "> 660nm" was only logical.

The pictures were mostly taken on vacation. Due to the additional red radiation, the images have to be processed by swapping channels (red with blue) and a specific white balance so that you get a presentable color infrared.

The fascination of the new perspective, that the objects that emit a lot of infrared are not necessarily the objects that stand out in real life, makes things exciting. Otherwise, you could simply swap green for yellow in Affinity (an enthusiastic user since this year, never Photoshop again).

As you no longer have the normal viewing habits to help you decide, you can never be sure whether the photo will have the desired effect. You only realize whether a photo is good or not when it is "developed". I have selected the best photos that have emerged since 2015 for the exhibition.
