To take astro shots, it should be as dark as possible. If you take a few steps at night or bend down to get the water bottle out of your backback, you may not be able to see the camera and tripod anymore. Accidentally stumbling against it is just as little an option as switching on the headlamp and destroying your shot.

Our Glow in the Dark hot shoe cover emits a faint glow for a long time, making the camera easily visible. To activate (or refresh) the glow, the cover only needs to be briefly illuminated with a headlamp or cell phone flashlight. The blue glow of the cover is so weak that the blue light is guaranteed not to be visible in the picture. However, as soon as our eyes have become accustomed to the darkness, the glow is easily visible. Depending on the duration and intensity of the charge, the hot shoe cover will continue to glow for at least 20-30 minutes.

To ensure that the cover is clearly visible from all sides, a star-shaped part protrudes upwards. The cover has a tight fit and sits securely on every hot shoe under slight tension thanks to the spring design. Lost hot shoe covers and unprotected contacts are therefore a thing of the past. The cover is made from 100% recycled plastic using an optimized 3D printing process. The cover is stable up to at least 60°C and is of course UV-resistant.
